Volunteering
Volunteering is good for you!
It's true! Research has shown that there are numerous health benefits to volunteering such as improved mental health & wellbeing and lower blood pressure as well as improving confidence and self-esteem.
Volunteering is for everyone, regardless of age, employment status or abilities. Most volunteers have a great time volunteering and recommend it to others. Volunteering is not just about giving - it’s a two-way exchange of skills and experience, provides a way to meet new people and find out more about your community. It can also be great fun and very rewarding!
